This is worth quoting and repeating.
I know that most years, not all groups make quota at UF. The same logic that makes chapters prefer a freshman over a junior causes them to prefer a junior over an open spot.
It will be tough, and you will be cut, but there will also be groups that do not care about your status as a junior.
