I agree... be open to relocation (or start your own thing, if you want).

Pray and keep looking. Send in resumes to jobs that you see yourself working in and maybe slightly under your normal targets. All you want now is an INTERVIEW OR A CALL BACK. You can even appear at the business and introduce yourself. Talk to people there and see if they are hiring. If not, ask if they know of other places they could refer you to. Check newspapers, elementary thru high schools, colleges, universities, job agencies, Job Junction, One-Stop Career stations, county, city, and state web sites and CALL too. Even the library and hospitals. I did all this and received 2 interviews, and later decided to work on my company full time.

I graduated August 2002 and could not find a job. Relocation was not an option for me. Luckily I had started a full service web design and hosting company a couple of months before my graduation.

Little did I know, that this would help me. After searching everywhere and unable to find a job in my field (Information Technology or anything related to computers), I decided to take a shot at it and work on my business. People told me to get any job until I found a better one, etc. I decided to work on my company instead. The beginning took some time with the help of friends and family for financial support.

Now, I am glad I did this; I enjoy what I do and do what I want. It's not easy and it's tough, but it's fun too.

I have spoken to some sorors already who are starting or planning their own business as well. Find a niche, use your skills, and just do it.
