Angry No cuts!

I work with little kids, and totally understand their frustration now when they tell me "so and so cut in front of me in line!" Yesterday while shopping at American Eagle, I was the 4th person in line. I kind of had to curve to the left of the guy in front of me, because of a display table. Well, the 1st person was done, so the line was moving up, and this lady and her daughter come up and stand directly behind the guy in front of me, but to the right of him. I guess since she approached from the other side, she didn't see me already standing in line. So we are basically standing side by side. So when the guy is finally checking out, she is yapping on her cell phone, yelling at her daughter simultaneously, and she puts her 1 pair of underware on the counter. As the cashier is handing the receipt to the guy in front of me, I put my stuff on the counter and I go "I'm next in line." And this woman looks at me like I am smoking crack and says "OOOOOHHHH, well go right ahead." To which I replied "Yeah, thanks." I mean really, did you think because you are a "grown up" you can cut in front of me in line? I think not. And that is why I hate shopping in Orlando. People with wanna-be New York attitudes + 97 degree temps. = Bad mood for shopping!

But I did have a very successful shopping day, finding a pair of Reef flip flops that I had been dying to get, and enjoying sales at A&F.

P.S. What is up with that sorry excuse for a Ron Jon's Surf Shop in Orlando? If you are visiting Orlando and want to go to a Ron Jon's, just drive an hour and go to the Cocoa Beach store. Man, the Orlando store is tres pathetique!
