I'm here.. couldn't get into my email. but wanted everyone to know i was safe. i am loving it so far... met with a nonprofit called Save the Children today in Addis Ababa (capitol). about to leave the sheraton (most expensive and elaborate hotel in all of africa, owned by a sheik. general tommy franks is staying here. hmph. we came for lunch, we are NOT staying here!!) and head further south (thru the great rift valley!!) to another non profit called Project Mercy. very excited. this expensive ass hotel is surrounded by shacks yall, no lie. it's a trip. wait til yall see the pictures. i've seen one traffic light the entire time i've been here (not even 24 hrs, lol). they drive crazy as hell, but i love it!! i have to go, i'll write more later!
