I agree with the previous posting. Meet up with him in church. Perhaps you can go to Denny's/IHOP afterward to discuss the sermon...this way you can know if he is a man who seeks God's heart or not.
My best advise would be for you to pray about every move you take with this brother. In Matthew 6:33, Jesus states (it's in the red writing--so take it seriously)that we should seek the Lord first, and then all other things will be added unto you. Seek to know the will of God first; and then you will have your answer.
