I know I could go to any store and buy a memo board, but since I'm not taking classes this summer, and still not working, I need to be entertained!!
I *finally* finished my cross-stitch bookmark & it's soooo cute!!
There's not one little square on that bookmark that doesn't have a stitch, so it took me awhile!
It's really cute, it has a little lion head at the bottom, an azure blue diamond at the top with a violet inside it, the
ADP letters vertically in the center in azure blue, and 3 white diamonds on the left of the letters, and 3 white diamonds on the right side of the letters. The background stitches are all a deep navy blue color.
My original idea for the diamond at the top was to cross-stitch a miniature version of our black diamond badge, but that didn't work out as planned
I went back and took out all the stitches and put a violet in there instead.
The total of 6 white diamonds on the sides of the greek letters are for our six original founders of the Adelphean society! I'm really excited!
