Well, had a class in HS where there were SIX Amys. So friends took to calling me AL (my initials). Over the years people other than high school friends have tried to call me AL and I won't even answer to it, its like I don't hear them, its just not right not coming out of a HS friend's mouth.
Ames, Aim-those are the usual. One friend I no longer am friends with called me Aimers, that drove me nuts.
I always preferred Amycat, but no one would call me that... thank God for GC, lol.
