I think it depends on you!
If you feel people are losing sight of the real "Reason for the Season" Then take it upon yourself to remind those close to you, or even those not so close to you. I always do.
I too enjoy all the good food and gifts but we always keep Christ in mind. Our work is never done no matter what. Whether it's involvement in a sorority or just being just plain ol' human. The folks in my surrounding area adopt families and try to make Christmas great for someone else. God found us worthy to give us his son. We could at least give a meal and some love to someone else less fortunate. Right?
