I'm watching the game. My Spurs mean just a tad bit more to me than Martha.

So, what did everyone think?
I thought it was well done, but I almost wish it had been three hours so it could have gone into more detail. I felt a little cut off at the end.

Pretty good, I think I think she probably is even more cold in real life.

I didn't remember her being involved w/ KMart for that long, but I looked online at her bios and that was true...I wasn't aware she was w/ them before her magazine or TV show.
They could have definitely done 3 hours on this. The one with Shirley MacLaine playing Mary Kay was better (and of course not quite as mean).

I like Martha Stewart. This movie was a little chessy though.

I thought the movie was pretty blah. I saw her "True Hollywood Story" on E! several months back and thought it was much more informative. Also the show on E! made her look even more cold and heartless...I want to say it might have even been a 2 hour episode.

My thoughts on Martha
It wasn't bad. I would have liked to seen more adult Martha rather than teenage, pre-fame Martha. Cybill Shepherd did a credible job.
As I watched it, I was reading
Just Desserts, a more gossipy unauthorized bio of M.S.

I heard the same thing. A girl in one of my clases interned for her, and she was telling us that Rosie worked the interns like mad and made outrageous demands.

Now I wish that I had watched it. I saw the end, maybe the last 20 minutes. I kind of feel bad for her.
When I was in the Hamptons, she hit one of her neighbors with her car. Her daughter opened a gym that was so strict that people started to quit. Her daughter was slapped in the face by a boyfriend and tried to press charges, but the police didn't pursue it. My sister and mother spotted MS shopping in the Big K-Mart out there.

I saw only the first forty-five minutes of the movie. I opted to watch the seventy-five minute season finale of CSI Miami. I don't know whether to hate or tolerate Martha. I did notice that her father was demanding and didn't think her life after modeling and as a stockbroker were good enough. I wish that they could have aired this movie again soon.

I think it's going to be on again this Saturday night, but I don't remember for sure.
I caught the last 45 min or so and it was pretty funny...especially the part with the nutcracker when she started selling her stock.
I watch her Food Network show all the time because it's really amusing. She tries to be so nice but you can tell she's a royal bitch. It's really funny to see how tense she gets when she has guests on because they aren't quite as neat as she is and she is constantly picking up after them. She even orders her own poor mother around.

Martha was charged with 9 counts, including securities fraud.
