MOST of our stars/entertainers were "groomed" before they began. So that stage presence we see today wasn't always there. Whoever wins will be groomed as well.

Former AIers last night: That chick Tamyra did well with her rendition of Somewhere Over the Rainbow. Did they re-arrange the verses or something?
Justin: ummmmm, he's aight! He kind of irks me. Is his middle name Guiarini (sp?) or what?

IMO, with AI and other shows like it, as long as you have the exposure and it's HIS will for you to shine, you will.

I'm sure K.Lo will do well, just like Frenchie and Tamyra have.

I almost fell asleep during Tamyra's and Justin's performances. They were both so slow and boring. I like Tamyra's voice but she made the song too dang dramatic. I liked Kimberly's version better when she sang it to get into the top 10. Justin just irritates me. I never thought he was that great of a singer.

About the finals...

I really wish Kimberly would have made it. I love her voice, her look, and her personality.

Clay needs to be on Broadway or in Vegas or something. I just don't see him as an American Idol. Don't get me wrong. He has a nice, strong voice but it sounds a little corny. I also hate how "proper" he sings. It's like he wont just let the lyrics flow off of his tongue or something.

I absolutely LOVE Ruben! His voice makes me melt. I've read many of you say that he doesn't have range, but he does. He may not get as loud with his as Clay or Kimberly, but he has range. He has an aura about him. When he's singing, he's having a good time. But when it's time to listen to the judges, he does just that. He's so humble and I truly appreciate that about him. He doesn't seem to get offended or excited about anything that is said to him. He takes it all in and tries to do his best.

OK! I'm off my soapbox now. I guess I was so surprised to stop by and see so many people who don't like my Ruben.
