I went through informal rush as a junior
I also have sisters in my chapter who went through formal rush in the Fall as juniors who got invited to more than one Pref. I do not know if our school uses the "free" junior/senior system though and our school has 6 NPC sororities.
P.S. I think the "free" junior/senior thing means that juniors and seniors don't get counted for quota. For example, if quota was 30, and ABC sorority wants to extend bids to 30 freshmen and 1 junior, and 1 senior, that would be ok. (Although I am very new to all the rush rules.. so if I'm wrong, someone please correct me!)
