I love that movie so much. My gal pal from SC and I saw it last semester and we just had the best time. I guess for me, I understand that pull between the glamour of being up North, in the big city and everyting and then the down home comfort of being back where you grew up with County boys and people who know everything you've done and love you anyway--mostly because they did the stuff with you! And yes, the New York boy had me at Tiffany's.
My boy, good little Yank that he is from New Jersey, suffered through it, and then bought me the DVD for my birthday. He understands that while he plans to take me back to New Jersey with him, I'll always be a little Southern girl.
