GC Soap Opera: The Good, The Ghetto, The GC

Tnxbutterfly and her best friend,Dionysus were in a secluded booth at their favorite restaurant Tre Expensive. They had just finished placing their order with the waitress. Tnxbutterfly was filling Dionysus about her blow up with RainMan that happened 2 days before.

Dio: So what did you say when RM demanded that you tell him why you were so against proposing to Kelli?

TNX: (sighing) What could I tell him?

Dio: Oh, I don't know........The truth perhaps

TNX: Yeah I could, but then that means I wouldn't have anything to say during the ceremony

Dio: (confused) What

TNX: Well, you know the part of the ceremony that goes "If anybody can find just cause why these to people shouldn't be married, speak now or forever hold your peace"

Dio: Yeah, what about it

TNX: Well, if I tell RainMan how I feel about him now, I'd have to keep quiet during that part.

Dio: I still don't know what you're talking about

TNX: If I'm going to make RM mine, then I have to do everything in my power to stop the wedding. (pausing to take a sip of water) And if it means, reavling my feelings to him during the actual ceremony, then that's what I'll do.

Dio: Gurrrrrrrl, you won't. I thought the two of you were best friends.

TNX: We are best friends.

Dio: You know it would kill him if he found out.

TNX: (sighing) Yeah, I know. I don't want to have to resort to that, but I can't allow this wedding to take place.

Dionysus shook her head. She couldn't believe what she was hearing. Usually, tnxbutterfly, was the most level-headed person in GC. This didn't sound like her friend at all.

Dio: You still didn't answer my question. What did you tell him?

Tnx: I told him that I was happy for him,but I wish he would slow down and make sure this was really what he wanted.

Dio: What did he say about that?

Tnx: He said that he didn't think I was being sincere and that he couldn't believe that I was being so unsupportive. It got really ugly from there. And it ended with him stroming our of my apartment

Dio: (under her breath) I don't blame him. (out loud) So what happens now?

Tnx: I don't know. I supose I need to talk to him

Before Dioysus can respond, Tnxbutterfly cell phone rings

Tnxbutterfly: Hello?

RainMan: We need to talk
