I work in the financial district in San Francisco. I was on my way to lunch and stepped out of my buliding and saw it was raining so I went back up to the 19th floor to get my SGRho umbrella.
I get outside and just as I get across the street, I hear this EEE-YYOOP! I snapped my head around (danm near broke it!) and saw my soRHOr standing on the oppisite corner waving at me! So when the light turned green, I ran across to greet her, gave her a *BIG HUG* and we did the intro's and stuff. Can you imagine what this looked like? Two grown women in the middle of the street hugging and laughing? I forgot her name already (i'm really bad with names!
)but she crossed at Mississppi Valley State. We only had 1 little piece of paper and I had left my cell phone in the office. So I gave her my number and I'm gonna hook her up with our grad and undergrad chapters! What a nice way to start my weekend!!
BTW, the obvious moral of the story is wear your para and wear it proudly!! You never know who you will run into!
I had a Sigma moment today!
