To T.I.S. : I am so proud of you! I haven't talked to you in forever, but I cannot express in words the elation I felt to get your email about your upcoming graduation. I am so proud of you, you have grown into a wonderful man. Look at where you came from, and look at where you are now!!! You have made your mother and your entire family proud, I am sure. As easy as it is for females, (myself definitely included) to say that there aren't any good brothas out there doing positive things with their lives...it makes me GLADLY eat my words! You are graduating from the US NAVAL ACADEMY with honors from a FULL SCHOLARSHIP! Do you know how much in demand you will be with a degree in Systems Engineering? You will be SO successful and I am just almost in tears because I know that you were wanting to quit at times, but I am glad that you persevered. You are so very intelligent and I am glad to be your friend...and if you hadn't gotten the point already, I am proud of you...and I will tell anybody that!
