blah blah blah, sounds like conformity to me. People these days are too easily influenced by the others around them.
No matter the school, no matter the part of the country, if a person allows themself to be judged by "what is proper and what is not" they lose a part of themself, even if it's that little bit.
I'm saying be true to yourself, not to those that want to see you look/act/abide a certain way.
