I guess my tone was not conveyed well either. I totally understand that tone is hard to convey on-line...I try to take care in all of my posts to be as pc as possible, and consider everyone's feelings...I said I was surprised, but that doesn't mean I think someone who took his post seriously was in the wrong. I've just gotten the impression that no one takes Tom seriously when he says things like that...there's obviously something else going on I know nothing about.

I'd have to agree with others on here. I thought his post was very serious. Since I wasn't on for a couple of days, I have the benefit of reading it all at once and seeing the whole thing and knowing not to "stress" but I would have if I had seen it right away.

Considering it's only June, we probably have a while to wait on this one.....

I just wanted to chime in as well. July-August can be a quiet time for alumnae; people go away on holidays, etc. Hang in there tinydancer, things will pick up again in the fall! We will all wait for your big announcement when you can shout it from the rooftops and everyone can know your happiness. Until then, hang in there (I am a bit of a cautious person and I believe in the "not counting the proverbial chickens before they've hatched philosophy").

I think I know why Tinydancer has chosen Gryffindor as the code name for her prospective GLO -- it is pretty obvious (I think!) But I am not gonna tell in case I am right, then Tinydancer will not be able to confirm nor deny.....
