Akatude, there is truly something wrong with this picture. I too heard about Fred Lane's other kids. The one thing I have not heard is how long the couple was married? Does anyone know? The paper here reported that Deidra also has a 5-year old from a previous relationship.
Onesavvydiva, what part of Columbia is Deidra from (which HS did she attend?)? I have relatives in Columbia, specifically a cousin who could possibly know her.
One other thing...
The news and papers here are also reporting that Fred Lane was convicted on a drug charge (a misdemeanor) in Jackson,TN on the day before he was shot. He returned from Jackson to Charlotte around 2:00PM and his wife called to report that he had been shot at 3:00PM.
That this whole situation had to happen at all is sad, but I think there is a lesson in all of this for a lot people.
All parties involved have been and will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.
