Thank you Soror for posting this. I have wanted to take my sons to see a step show, however, the ones I have seen have not impressed me as a woman nor a mother. The types of behavior displayed at the shows really have nothing to do with stepping but more to do with sex and violence. I wish the Divine Nine would remember its legacy and carry it instead of allowing it to die. For now, I will only allow them to watch old tapes of my brother who used to step at Famu(APHIA) back in the day.
