Do EVERYTHING you can. When you first start out. Try to do things that are diverse, you might find something you really like. I'm not a music or broadcast major but I am an anchor/reporter for the newscast and on scholarship to play violin in the orchestra and active in student gov't. Probably won't ever get that kind of opportunity again.
