It's been a while since anyone close to me has been diagnosed with cancer. My grandmother died of colon cancer when I was five years old, but that was 20 years ago. However, they are making new discoveries in medicine every day. The earlier it is detected, the sooner treatment can begin.
Stay positive and be strong for your mom. I pray that she will come through this ordeal ok.
