Sorry that it has taken me so long to reply to this!
UBC sorority undergrads and alumnae are working feverishly together to raise the final amount necessary so that ground can be broken in August. It is my understanding that there will be an accelerated building completion schedule in place so that it will be ready for occupancy next year (2004)!!

I only wish that it had been completed while I was still there ~ I was around long enough to see the former Panhel building, which, as Carleigh mentioned, was demolished 5 years ago. Let's just say that this new one will DEFINITELY constitute a huge improvement!
