Hi! I am curious as to what school Humblebumblebee attends. I believe we are in the same boat. I transferred to a school and was told there was no chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority on campus. After further investigation (I refused to give up), I literally bumped into a delightful young lady who happened to be a member of AKA and she told me that there was indeed a chapter on campus. Problem is, my chance "meeting" with her occurred on the last day of the Spring semester so I have to wait until the fall to have the opportunity to actually see her again. She did take my name and E-mail address but I fear I was being such a fumbling idiot when I wrote the info down that I could have mispelled something. ( I was just so excited to have found out that there actually was a chapter after all) Anyway, I'm hoping the chapter has events this summer so that I may meet some of the other members. *sigh* I guess I will use the summer break to find as much info as possible on the organization.
