Before school started last fall, my mom was so freaked out she almost wanted me to not go.
I'm not loving driving an hour to and from school each day, but its better than the paralyzing fear I felt from being alone in BR, with roomates who didn't give a damn about the serial killer or about me (i.e., they would refuse to go places in pairs - I asked them to go to office depot with me after school one day - and they sat in the car the whole time!)
Maybe I'm a big baby, but yes, I'm 23 years old and it feels much better to be safe at home with my mommy when nightitme comes!
