Here's an idea...if someone posts a topic that you don't find interesting, don't agree with, etc., etc. IGNORE IT!!! Why go back and forth justifying whether or not something is legitimate, whether or not it makes that person "look smart", whatever
. If the moderator feels like the post is unnecessary, he/she can delete it. Why make it your life's mission (at least for the day), to debate with someone over something trivial.
BTW...it's just a message board...this is not the national news, so it has urban legend potential...STF ever, it's not like she's Connie Chung trying to pass it off as breaking news. Get over it!!
