I'm glad you brought this up, soror! I agree with everyone in that the AKA/APA bond differs from area to area. What has always irritated me is that it seems that we women of all sororities give more support to fraternities in general than men do to us. What I mean is that I have been to stepshows, events, etc. where the AKAs are screaming their hearts out for Alphas, Kappas, whatever, while the men have played it pretty cool when it comes to giving the women their props. Same for Deltas/Ques, etc. That always bugged me!
At any rate, each organization bearing the letter Alpha is its own entity. I pledged my heart to AKA and that's the way it will always be for me. Of course, though, the men of Alpha will always get love, just as long as its reciprocated. Peace.
