At least on my campus, You are only back to a pref party if they really want you to be a sister. pref means-we like you please join us. Obviously you have A list B list so forth because of Quota. BUT, when a girl ranks her pref card, she is kind of getting multiple "offers" and she is selecting, in order her PREFERENCES. They do have choices and it does eliminate a lot of bropems like ABC bids everyone or smaller groups not getting a fair shake.
I recieved multiple bids as well during informal recruitment. It was very flattering. If you meet lots of girls during informal, you probaly will get multiple bids becaue it is not so cut throat.Less pressure.But I think you'd still end up where you would have gone in formal anyway.Just me
