Honor Board

On Monday, I was appointed Member at Large of my chapter's honor board! I am so excited and honored that the prez and VPs thought about me for this position! I am really looking foward to being really involved in DG!!!

Honor Board is a big job! You'll have a lot of fun though!! I'm glad that you are getting so involved...it's so exciting to hear about it all! Starting a colony is such an amazing process...we are both lucky to be able to share that.

ooh, i was vp: social standards...honor board is a trip. our at large member was a vp for panhel so HB meetings always turned into panhel gossip fest. it was fun.

Why is the position called "member at large"? I never thought to ask that

"member at large" is kinda like a "miscellaneous" title. You're not the junior or sophomore member, you're not another officer, you're just kinda representing the general population of the chapter. I'm sure else someone could elaborate on this more...
