I watched this last night and it was excellent! It was deep y'all!! Mamie Till was an incredible woman with amazing strength. I really admire what she did to make this a national case. There were hundreds of Black people dying in similar ways, but her decision not to have a closed casket funeral really put, no pun intended, a face on what was happening for Black folks in the south.

If you haven't seen it, please do! Teachers, you need to make this required viewing in your classes!!
