Why?
She (if they are still together) has been going through drama with him for YEARS. If it's the same one. He was in "trouble" a couple of years ago with being with one of the cheerleaders. She knows/knew what she is/was married to. Now, the children, they are innocent victims. He wasn't thinking about those innocent victims when he was sitting there.
