I think a cute informal recruitment activity could be something called the "Winter Olympics" or something like that. Pair the girls up together and have some fun with activities like the human wheelbarrow race, and things like that.
(I used to be a Resident Advisor, so coming up with programs was practically required

I'm not sure how well the idea would go over with your chapter, but I think it could show PNM's your chapter is fun and doesn't mind getting a lil silly sometimes
as for your editing your signature, click the 'usercp' button at the top near the 'register' button. From there you can click 'edit profile' and on the next screen there should be an input box near where it says 'signature'. you can edit your signature from there
