New blood is wonderful - but there are rules in place and you have to follow them.

It's not right for a group to be able to just say "Hey! We're a sorority!" and immediately be able to participate in Greek Week, get access to meeting rooms, get campus funding etc. If they are really serious about it, they should be willing to wait and work for it. Yes, 100 years ago you could create a sorority all on your own but things are different now.
