I'm actually spending Turkey Day in Providence...with grad school applications and the first chapter of my thesis due Monday, I am to my ears in work. I can't leave architecture studio for more than a few days...our final project is due in 2 weeks! My best friend is staying here too, and Mr. Munchkin03 will be here, so we will have a "non-traditional" Thanksgiving!
Speaking of turkey, I just watched this movie about the way a certain company (which shall remain nameless) treats their turkeys and what happens when they try to escape. The feeders keep the turkeys as fleshy as possible so they'll be nice and plump, and their legs can't support their weight.
I'm not a serious vegetarian, but I will not be eating turkey.
