I agree completely - because I grew up in a different country where this was not the rule, myself and a lot of people I know in schools over here are considered quite young - we'll all have our BSc degrees before we are truly legal.

If your child is ready to go to school - don't hold him/her back. And if he/she is above 5 and NOT ready, make sure he/she is ready first.

If children do not know what they should for their grade level, DO NOt just send them to the next grade. I have freshmen at my school that seem to be unable to spell minor ten letter words.

I also, DO NOT believe that people are born homosexual. I know of places, (home for exammple) where if you express such views - it will be forced out of you by any means necessary - it is not acceptable. But yet, so far, no one really seems to believe that they were born that way - so extreme measures have not been taken. People have gotten expelled form schools for "exprimenting" with homosexuality.

Sometimes, it does seem like the black race is cursed - I do not know if I truly believe that though.

I agree that people on welfare should be forced to use birth control. The men should be dealt with also. I do not know how though.

There is too much political correctness in the US - I can't even say stewardess without getting the evil eye.

That's it for me. (for now

Time for a bump.

-I believe that many people who dis the iPhone do it because they know they can't afford it. Classic case of sour grapes.

-The higher the income and education a man has, the more femininity he wants in a woman. Have not thought of why yet, but I know I'm not crazy, I see this so much.

-Bad experiences cause people to develop prejudices way more than ignorance or a desire for superiority.

wow why didn't I see this thread before

Women are superior.

'Separate but equal' may not always be such a bad concept after all.

People don't like to look at themselves or spend time by themselves. That's why they have so many problems in relationships. They need to look at themselves first.

People don't like to take the blame, even when they know they're wrong.

It's VERY hard for people to say "I'm sorry."

ETA: People have CONTROL. ISSUES.

Forcing individuals that entered the country without proper documentation to pay FEDERAL income taxes would cure the problem of folks coming here illegally. I personally don't consider anyone who pays FEDERAL taxes illegal

Companies that hire illegal immigrants are the plantation owners of the 21st century.

homosexuality

i think the black community need to be less judgemental on the gay issue. I myself dont agree with homosexuality but who am i to judge them? I'm not perfect and i'm defin. not God Almighty. Let God deal with them on that issue, we should love our brothers, sons, daughters or whoever is gay in our lives because they are still our family. I also feel that if we were more open on this issue then there would less brothers on the DL becuase they wouldn't be so ashamed and fearful of coming out.

Ditto ^^^.

* AFAM churches need to stop with the constant rant against homosexuality. It is no more a sin than little white lies, alcoholism, and fornication. Let's tackle other issues like: older ministers and deacons feeling free to hit on/sexually harass young women. Don't thank God for my body, you perv. Can I get an Amen to that?

* As a follow-up, gay marriage should be made legal. Heterosexuals don't need to be the only one with marriage issues. Marriage between idiots should be made illegal.

* 40 years of 'affirmative action' (not read: unqualified black for quota purposes) does not make up for more than 400 years of bondage.

* Racism DOES exist, but every situation between persons of different races is NOT a racial one. Quit trying to make things out of nothing.

* I will not spend more than $20 to see any collegiate sports play. ANY. No matter the team. Some of these people sat in my English class and failed, why am I looking up to them on the field?

* Same deal for (most) professional athletes. Million dollar contracts should be reserved for worthy teachers, mentors, community activists/leaders, and the like. Not for a pompous 'player' who boasts his scores on the court, in the bedroom, and on his criminal record.
