Hey Corina
I've been reading this thread more and more and hoped to share some stuff. I attend the Rochester Institute of Technology (You prolly haven't heard of us, despite our rankings among tech schools). ONLY 4% OF STUDENTS HERE ARE GREEK! When you mentioned how few greeks there are on your campus I fealt that I could relate.

It seems you're having the same problems everyone else is having. RUSH! We usually pull in 2 to 6 pledges a quarter (our school's on a quarter system, so we have 3 rush periods rather than two). And these are not uncommon numbers around here. We usualy don't rush with other houses (but we do socials with them a lot). 80% of the people who'll join GLO's are people who were in the "maybe crowd" that were initially intimated of this huge greek system. You meet them individually as friends, and then explain how it all works answering questions along the way. INTRODUCE THEM TO OTHER MEMBERS!! Finally ask them if they would consider joining if they haven't already inquired this themselves. It's a surefire method, and you can weed out the people you don't want along the way.

Hope this helps a bit. And remember, rush is something the whole house has to participate in!
