Dirty Rushing

Dirty rushing has gone way out of hand at the Universtiy I attend. We have a very large greek system, 10 sororitys, 10 Fraternities. 30% of our school is Greek. This past Rush was extremely bad. One house is known for dirty rushing in that they call the PNM's during the summer, and during formal rush, they tell them that their chapter is the best and they would be very unhappy if they went anything else, and so forth and so forth. They actually set aside money in their budget to pay for rush infractions that they know they will get. It is worth it to them because they always get a fabulous pledge class...even though the rest of the sororities hate them because of how dirty they play. They even go so far as to call their Rho Gammas and get inside info on the girls during rush to know if the girl is leaning towards them or another house. This year, I have to admit that almost every house on our campus played a little dirty, and I can tell its going to get worse as the years go by. The sad part is that the alums are the one who encourage it telling us that this is the way we get great girls...needless to say we did.
