I'm an only and a lot of that is accurate. Especially the boundaries thing. I guess that's why I've had issues with roomates before - I know how much it sucks to have others invade your space, so I'm super-careful to not do that. Most roomates that I've had haven't been as good about it. I always assume I'm going to be an intrusion unless told otherwise.
My boyfriend is the youngest, the second child, but his older brother is 9 years older. So, he's practically an only. We both relate like we're only children.
