We do get recognition pins, officers pins, etc, but they are just that.... freestanding(?) pins. They are generally small stick-pins that are worn below and to the left of our badge. I'm not sure whether chapter pins are available, I've never seen one, but it's possible.

As far as badge-buddies go (I think that's what they are called?) they are STRICTLY FORBIDDEN for DOs (there was a big tussle at our triennial conference about this, when a few members showed up wearing them). Our badge may only be worn on an article of clothing (ie. blouse, dress, etc) and may not be worn on any other piece of fabric (ie. a jacket or a badge-buddy) and may not be transformed into any other article of jewelery (necklace, ring, etc.) whether one is an active or an alumnae.

This has been a really interesting thread, to see what different rules are for different orgs!
