Good ideas sorors!

Keep them coming :-)

Have any sorors conducted surveys of inactive sorors in their area?

How did you do it? i.e. mass mailing, e-mail, phone, etc. Did sorors respond to the surveys? What were the responses? Did you use their responses to make changes to your chapter programs, etc? If you made changes to your chapter, then did these sorors reactivate? Was the survey worth the effort?

A lot of questions, huh? :-)

As you can see, I'm very serious about the status of our beloved membership. If we figure out why sorors are inactive or don't want to remain active, then we can possibly address those issues corporately.

For example, if we find that a lot of sorors are inactive because of financial reasons, then we can do a "general membership" drive and get them financial. Then the graduate chapters in that area can still keep those sorors in the loop, by inviting them to chapter meetings, as a guest(in hopes of them joining when their finances are in order), and to community service activities as volunteers.
