So, I did a GHB search on the web. I read about ten articles -- mostly from the FDA, AMA, etc., but also from a couple of organizations who defend the use of GHB and Ketamine as "harmless" (club) drugs.

In ALL cases, the two were listed in the same sentence -- with Ketamine being described as the weaker of the two, and being described as an animal tranquilizer. GHB was mostly described as a depressent which affects the central nervous system.

So, while I was incorrect, I would argue that a "moron" might more likely be considered as someone who is dumb enough to take or defend the use of a now illegal drug which has been apparantely linked with date rape and death by medical examiners and other experts in the field, including a drug company who formerly manufactured the drug.

Finally, "name calling" as a propaganda (argument) technique is a very weak and almost always ineffective tool among people who are of reasonable intelligence.

If I were talking to one of my children, I would tell them to grow up. And then, given the topic, I would hope they live long enough to do that.
