Annie, I'm still beaming over Bid Day yesterday! You are an amazing person and I'm so glad that after all this time, I can call you my sister! Gamma Phi Beta has so much to offer and I know you're going to make the best of it! In my last year at UCR, I hope to help you get accustomed to Gamma Phi and to make your experience with our chapter the best ever!

For everyone out there, here's a newsflash on how recruitment went:

Bid Day was Oct. 15th and quota was 24. Gamma Phi took 27 (the whole 5% over quota which is 2, plus an awesome senior), and we're now over house total! It all works out though because two sisters are studying outside California in the Winter, and two more are coming back (they transferred), so we're excited!

Alpha Chi Omega, Kappa Kappa Gamma, and Sigma Kappa all made quota as well (24), Pi Phi took 10, and I believe Delta Gamma took 7 or 8, so both of those chapters are going to COB. Overall, we're all very happy with the recruitment results, especially Gamma Phi, because we have an AMAZING new 27 girls in the Alpha Sigma pledge class!

Carol
