It was very rude of the fraternity to react how they did, but at the same time, I understand where they are coming from.
Yes, Homecoming is more important than school, but one of the things you learn in a sorority is time management. If sisters put off studying till homecoming week, that's their own fault. If I was in that fraternity and found out that my partners blew off events to study for tests they knew about for weeks, I would be mad too. I'm sure a lot of them also had midterms.
Reason #1,572 why I am so glad we built a float with a fraternity for homecoming and that was it...
