lol KillarneyRose... that sounds exactly like my father, especially #4. I don't think he approved of anyone I brought home, including my husband. Too bad for him that I'm an adult and he doesn't get to run my life!
There is a definite difference for a son vs. a daughter bringing someone home. When my husband and I moved in together (we were engaged) his mother told him, straight out, in front of me, "If you were a girl moving in with your boyfriend, I would forbid you to do it, but since you're a man moving in with your girlfriend, it's fine by me."
