I don't mind study hours (though mine haven't started yet) but I think more than 5 hours is a bit much. I think 3-5 hours is enough. If you do more than that you really are infringing on people's time. 5 hours is enough to get MOST homework done- I don't have that much in most my classes the majority of the time and more than that I would just be sititng there picking my nose
So, study hours are good- but only to an extent- too much can cause burn-out
