As a recent Howard Graduate, I know you'll really like DC and especially homecoming. It is from October 11 -- 19 this year. I'm going down there and I can't wait to attend my first homecoming as an Alum.
There is so much to do in DC and is very diverse.
Make sure you go to Dream, it's a new club there.
I just moved to Fort Wayne, IN so it can be a little scary and nerve-wracking, but also really exciting. I think you'll adjust fine because you've got people looking out for you.
Are you renting a truck? If you are, I hope it's not U-Haul, they gave me the serious runaround the day I was supposed to move and I had to call another company and pay three times as much...
