Ideal08, be careful in DC, man. Like everyone has mentioned, the shopping, the guys, the homecomings...sigh. I stayed there one summer (and I have been to my share of HBCU homecomings) and trust me, I did NOT want to leave. The only thing that got me was the traffic lights being on the SIDE of the road, lol. They know SO much better than to do that in the south, we run redlights when they are overhead anyway, lol. That was my first encounter with those, til I found there were more cities like that. Oh well, librasoul is a careful driver now (in a fast and furious kind of way).
Anyway, I wish you the best in your job search! It will work out, I just know it. Follow your HEAD
and the rest will follow. Also? DC has a great music scene.
