I won't lie to you--my first semester at college was awful. I hated it. I hated my classes, I hated the school, and I hated the people. OK, maybe hate's a strong word, but I was miserable. I went home not only ever weekend, but every chance I got.
I don't know what to tell you--some people take the transition better than others. But I will tell you that things got infinitely better when I joined my sorority, and I'm not just saying that!
I still don't like the school all that much, and I definitely don't like the town it's in, but my sisters make my days a little brighter--I don't know what I'd do without them.
