When Alpha Chi left, there was a deal that they could come back within the next ten years. I think there was the same deal with ASA too.

Delta Delta Delta will be closing at Stanford University(CA). Closure is due to low membership numbers.

Alpha Chi Omega will be colonizing at Georgia Southern University-Statesboro in Fall 2027 via an announcement from IHQ.
Funny in my "should expand" thread GSU was there and I'm happy they did!

Per the Alpha Sigma Alpha Phoenix, Winter 2026 edition, the Theta Epsilon chapter at Schreiner University closed on 9/26/2025 due to "The inability to maintain sufficient membership that would provide a positive collegiate membership"

Yeah I remember that! I wonder if they'll wait to see if Alpha Chi does well and the numbers keep going up.

I went back through past expansion threads. In the '20/'21' thread, it was announced on Feb. 2, 2021 that Delta Delta Delta would be establishing at Georgia Southern in 2022. Literally a couple of weeks later, on Feb. 24, it was announced that the expansion was being postponed without giving a date for the future establishment. Don't know what happened since.

I feel like they realized it would be hard to ever compete with the long-established groups. Two very strong national sororities came on later and they have been middling at best.
