I met President Carter several times when I was stagemanaging Braves telecast for TBS. One time I told him he was the best ex president we’ve ever had and he laughed. I think he knew what I meant.

One of my college friends was/is (lost track of him) the band director there. He was definitely not well liked by the small oil producers--and there used to be a lot of them here before his term.
