The Guard are due for their new rulebook for this edition of the game in a month or so, there are model and rule previews on the Warhammer Community website. I haven't been too aware of them, but it seems like there are some... interesting changes.

The rule changes would throw me off. It seems like it’d be a lot to keep up with but when it’s a hobby that people really enjoy, I’d think the rule changes would be just as interesting and enjoyable to learn as the hobby itself.

Xant, what do you mean when you say magnetize? So, the weapons are not attached to the figures themselves? You can pick the weapon? Well, that’s pretty cool. I like that.
